Milan in pole position for Ronaldinho
Milan chief officer Adriano Galliani has publicly stressed that the Rossoneri are in "pole position" to sign Ronaldinho if Barcelona decide to sell the brilliant Brazilian.
The Serie A side, in Champions League action against Celtic on Tuesday night, have made their intentions clear regarding the former Paris Saint Germain forward.
Although Barca are looking to extend Ronaldinho's contract, the recent spat with Samuel Eto'o has led to some observers claiming Barca could cash in on the 26-year-old.
"Ronaldinho knows in a really good way of our interest," stated Galliani.
"Even if I don't believe a rich club like Barcelona could make him free to leave.
"If they should do this, we would be in pole position.
